January 2, 2010 , rural Maryland. Nestled in the hills of farm country sits an unassuming farmhouse bounded on three sides by a "Y" intersection that is known to have claimed more than one life.
The family who calls this their "home" had also undergone recent tragedy with the loss of a close family member. "Noel" was 19 at the time of her passing and is believed to have joined other spirits there in making their presence known.
Our investigation was thorough and the evidence plentiful!
One thing we emphasize during our investigation is the need to obtain names from those in spirit we may be talking to. We then try to correlate names we get with the property and/or the area. In this investigation, we captured quite a number of names and in fact have identified at least 2 old family names known to residents in the area which mark tracks of land and roads.
We also experienced the use of our names by those in spirit during this investigation far more than we had ever experienced before. It is still a bit unnerving even for experienced paranormal investigators to hear someone speak their name that they cannot see.
We will post a few examples of the EVPs we captured at this location. We were fortunate to get a number of Class A EVPs, a larger volume of Class B EVPs and quite a number of Class C EVPs. We even captured EVPs that shared let's say.....colorful language with us.
All together, we captured more than 300 audio anomalies and EVPs during the investigation that evening. Even now, it's hard to imagine that would even be possible! It seems several spirits were quite eager to speak that evening and fortunately they shared their voices on our audio tapes.
But we have video too!
The night was filled with personal experiences and as we found during our evidence review, we not only captured audio evidence of anomalous activity, but we were able to capture several anomalies on video as well. We'll give you a small sample here, but we're going to hold some of that back for our events coming in late May or early June in Maryland and Virginia where you can see and hear the evidence for yourself. You will meet the investigators and hear their stores as they recount this and other investigations!
